Music at an Exhibition

Pianist Pamela Chilvers will perform original compositions matched to 16 traditional oil paintings by Alastair Dunstan

Pamela Chilvers is a pianist who studied with Dame Fanny Waterman and is a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music. She loves to combine the arts to make concert going more interesting, and this event has a nod to Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures from an Exhibition.’ She has written descriptive compositions individually matched to 16 paintings displayed here.

Alastair Dunstan is an artist trained at Chatles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, where classical training and traditional methods of oil painting are preserved.
