A circular country walk from Caversham through woods and fields of South Oxfordshire, visiting Chalk House Green, Crowsley Park, Binfield Heath and Dunsden Green, where a refreshment stop at Loddon Brewery is planned.

This is a circular walk from Clayfield Copse Recreation Ground, Caversham, along lanes and footpaths which take you through the woods and fields on the edge of the Chilterns. After passing through Clayfield Copse, the route continues to Chalkhouse Green and then winds across the fields to Crowsley Park and then through the beautiful woods and along Bones Lane to the Bottle and Glass pubic house on the edge of Binfield Heath. The route then winds across the fields and down Tag Lane for a refreshment stop at Loddon Brewery at Dunsden Green, the village famous for the WWI Poet Wilfred Owen, before returning to our starting point.

There will be 3 planned refreshment stops. Walking boots and water proof clothing. A piece of plastic / plastic bag or equivalent to sit on at the picnic. A packed lunch and drinks. There are toilets at the brewery.
