Join Walk Works as we guide you on this walk of Reading town centre and beyond. We are delighted to be able to show you some of our greatest independent retailers including Shed, Blue Collar Food, RISE Bakehouse, South Street Arts Centre and many more and also to be able to point out some of the town's gems including Chocolate Island, St. John's Conservation Area, Huntley Wharf, The Abbey Ruins and Forbury Gardens.

Please do bring water and a snack if you need one, we will stop at the end of the walk for a drink and lunch at Blue Collar Street Food (optional). Good walking shoes are always a sensible idea. There are toilets at Blue Collar (start and end).

Liz Bradbury and Caroline Gratrix have been leading guided walks in Reading town centre and the surrounding counties for four years. Their walks are very friendly and sociable with a focus on getting to know the local area while enjoying urban and green spaces.
