About the walk leaders

The walk is led by Lily and Delphine.

"We are both Lowland Leader trainees and French. We collaborate through the Visorando walkers community with the common goal of inspiring people to explore and enjoy the great outdoors. Lily has lived in London since 2012 and is the creator of The Flamingo Hiker blog. My passion for hiking began in 2019, transforming me from a city dweller to an avid explorer of the UK's trails. After a career shift in 2018, allowing me to have free weekends, I discovered the joy and freedom of hiking and share my experiences and tips through my blog. As a hike leader, I bring a unique blend of enthusiasm, knowledge, and a touch of pink colour to my outfit for every adventure. Delphine lived for 4 years in High Wycombe, volunteering for the Chilterns AONB and the Chiltern Tourism Network. Today I am Community Developer UK at Visorando free walking app and community getting involved in walking events and courses around the UK. I have been an international walking leader and mentor for many years now."
