Join the Nature Nurture team for a relaxed and welcoming walk around the new Memory Lane Trail at The Cowsey.
Type of Walk
Guided tour - learning something new / more talking and less walking
More detail
This special trail brings Whitley's past into the present. Along the way, beautifully designed plaques mark moments in time, each linked to real memories shared by local residents. Through simple audio recordings, you will hear first-hand stories of work, play, family life and community spirit that have shaped this place. As we walk, we will pause to listen, reflect and notice the landscape around us. Some stories may surprise you. Others may spark memories of your own.
Expect a gentle pace, friendly conversation and a chance to experience The Cowsey not just as green space, but as a living archive of local voices. Come along, bring a friend, and step into the stories woven through this landscape.
