The bridge over the River Loddon where our walk begins, has been rebuilt many times and the walk will take you on a circular journey across what was the marshy floodplain for the Loddon and into newly established woodland and other wildlife habitat

The start and end of walk are close to The George Public House (toilets and refreshments). Dress for the weather.

About the walk leader

Grahame was the local Park Ranger for many years and co authored the walks book 'Walking through History' that this walk is crafted from. He is supported by other members of Earley Environmental Group.
