This walk will take you around a scenic lake where you may be lucky enough to catch sight of a kingfisher or heron, past a butterfly garden and into cool dark woodland. There are several Veteran Oak trees in the woodland and many examples of careful habitat management to encourage biodiversity will be seen along the way.
Dress for the weather. Sensible shoes. Local shops within a mile. Toilets at beginning and end.

About the walk leader
Grahame was the Park Ranger for many years and has a deep relationship with the nature reserve. He is supported by two fellow members of Earley Environmental Group.
