A 9km walk from the town centre, along the Kennet and Avon canal to Southcote Mill, across Southcote Meadows, then on to Prospect Park and west Reading. On this walk you will enjoy views along the canal, be close to nature at Fobney wetland reserve and Southcote Meadows, and walk across historic Prospect Park, before heading back into town.

Steve Vale is Reading born and bred, has lived in the town for most of his life and is an experienced walk leader with Loddon Valley Ramblers. He has led walks for the Reading Walks Festival for the past 3 years.
