Join us for a train-friendly, early-summer amble from Goring-on-Thames railway station going along the Thames Path National Trail under Brunel's brick-arched railway bridge, to reach Whitchurch-on-Thames and climb to Whitchurch Hill for a lunch stop. We return through Chiltern woodland, including Great Oaks Wood and Great Chalk Wood, and over undulating farmland, to end with good views of the Thames on our way back to Goring Station. A chance to walk more of the waterways near Reading that can be reached easily by the fast trains from Reading station.
