The Work of the Dogs Trust
A talk to Reading u3a by Wendy Edwards of the Dogs Trust
A talk not just for dog lovers but for anyone with an interest in our canine friends. The Dogs Trust has been in existence since 1891, working for a better future for dogs and the people who love them. The Trust cares for dogs in distress, finds loving families for dogs needing a home and steps in when an owner needs a helping hand (or paw). This meeting is an opportunity to discover who The Dogs Trust are, what they do, and how they fight to make tomorrow’s world a better place for all dogs.
The talk will be presented by Wendy Edwards of Dogs Trust Newbury, which can care for up to 70 dogs and provides an on-site training barn, a vet suite and a puppy suite. Come along to Reading u3a at Abbey Baptist Church, Abbey Square, Reading and find out more about keeping those waggy tails wagging. Free entry, non-members welcome. Visit readingu3a.org.uk
