Join us on Saturday, 24th February 2024, at 7.30 pm for an evening of classical masterpieces at the Great Hall, Reading University, London Road, RG1 5AQ. Reading Symphony Orchestra presents a Spring Concert that promises to enchant and captivate.

Immerse yourself in the passion and drama of Tchaikovsky's timeless masterpiece as the orchestra brings the story of Romeo and Juliet to life in his Fantasy Overture.

Featuring Mezzo Soprano, Hannah Pedley, the first half of the concert concludes with Mahler's "Songs of a Wayfarer." Hannah Pedley's career spans iconic operatic roles such as Carmen and concert solo performances, both in the UK and abroad.

The second half features the powerful Symphony No. 1 by Sibelius, a symphony that reflects the grandeur of the Finnish landscape and the composer's distinctive voice.
