Crafts and activities for children at Reading libraries this February half term

Join us this February Half Term for children's crafts across our Libraries.  Keep checking back as more sessions are added. Donations welcome for these drop-in sessions. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

For Chinese Lunar New Year take part in any of the following crafts when the library is open -

Make your own Chinese New Year Horse.

Decorate a patch to make a larger Chinese New Year Horse.

Complete the Dragon Treasure Hunt

suitable for all and no need to book.

Southcote Library

Southcote Community Hub, Coronation Square, Southcote, RG30 3QP.

Saturday 14th February, 10.00am - 12.00pm

Reading Museums Partnership bring Museums on Wheels back to Southcote Library - subject tbc, this is a free event suitable for all ages

Tuesday 17th February, 2.00pm - 5.00pm 

It's Chinese Lunar New Year, join us for a horse themed children's craft to celebrate the year of the fire horse

Saturday 21st February -10.00am -12.00pm

Join us for a Ramadan lantern children's craft.

Our pancake treasure hunt and trivia quiz will run throughout half term.

All children's craft activities are suitable for children aged 3-10 and are FREE.
