Easter Holiday Crafts at Reading Libraries

Various locations and dates

Over the Easter school holidays we have a range of fun craft sessions for children happening in our libraries.  

All events are £1 per participating child unless otherwise stated.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Battle Library

Thursday 10th  April  2.30pm – 3.30pm

Children’s Easter craft – making and decorating Easter decorations. For ages 4-10, drop in, no need to book. 

 

Thursday 17th 2.30pm – 3.30pm

Children’s Easter crafts - make  and decorate an Easter Egg Card. For ages 4-10, drop in, no need to book. 

 

Easter Egg Treasure hunt from Tuesday 8th April, hunt for Easter eggs to be entered into a prize draw.

 

Thursday 17th April 10.30am – 11.30am –  Easter coffee morning and quiz, enjoy an Easter treat while tackling our Easter quiz. Everyone welcome. Prize for the winner.

 

Palmer Park Library

Tuesday 15th April 2-3pm

Make a Peek-a-Boo Chick for Easter.  Ages4+ Drop in – no need to book.

 

Southcote Library

Tuesday 8th April 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Join Reading Museum and The MERL at Reading Libraries this April as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of writer Jane Austen’s birth.

Find out more about Jane's connections to Reading and local life in the late 1700s, make a cross stitch bookmark and have a go at writing with ink. 

A free event for all the family, drop in no need to book.

Children’s Easter craft - make a chick emerging from an egg. For ages 4-10, drop in, no need to book. 

 

Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Children’s Easter crafts - make an Easter egg wreath. For ages 4-10, drop in, no need to book. 

 

Thursday 17th April, 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Children's Easter Craft - make a bunny chalk silhouette picture. For ages 4-10, drop in, no need to book. 

 

Whitley Library

Tuesday 8th April - All day

Hop along to Whitley library and make Bunny Hats and Easter Egg Glasses. Craft available all day.

Thursday 10th April 1.00pm - 3.00pm
