CRAFT ACTIVITIES AT THE BRANCHES SUMMER 2024
 Summer Reading Challenge 
Register at any Reading library for the free Summer Reading Challenge. Read six books over the summer and get stickers, a medal, a certificate and much more!

TILEHURST
All crafts Tuesday morning 10.30 – 11.30. £1 per child. Drop-in.
•    30th July - Froggy land.
•    6th August - Paper plate butterflies and dinosaurs. 
•    13th August Fred in the Shed Magic show.
•    20th August Eggbox sea creatures.
•    27th August Enchanted Sea. 
•    3rd September Bee Inspired. 

CAVERSHAM
All crafts Thursday afternoon 2.00 – 3.30pm. £1 per child. Drop-in. 
Activities are aimed at primary school children with the help of a grown-up.  
•    25th July - Sunshine and Showers. 
•    1st August - Funny Faces.
•    8th August - Bobbing Boats.
•    15th August - Silly Squids. 
•    22nd August - Froggy Friends.
•    29th August - Dragon Drama. 

WHITLEY
Lego Club 
FREE, drop-in session. 
Every Saturday, 10.00 -12.00pm.
Tambourine making 
Tuesday 13th August, all day. 
These Tambourines are great fun to decorate and even more fun to play. Make and decorate your one-of-a-kind instrument. 

All day. £1 per child. Drop in. 

Wooden spoon craft
Tuesday 6th August, all day Whitley Library.  
Use our well stocked craft table to decorate a wooden spoon and create your favourite character or animal.  
£1.00 per child, drop-in.

Museums on Wheels, the museums return with a storyteller, Summer Reading Challenge LEGO themed craft and items from their collections. Saturday 17th August 10.00 - 12.00pm.  FREE, drop-in.

SOUTHCOTE
All activities are for children aged 4 – 10, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Library Scavenger Hunt in association with Safer Public Realm Community Day.
Thursday 25th July 1.00 – 4.00pm.
FREE drop-in session. 

School’s Out! Children’s craft.
Saturday 27th July 10.00 – 11.30am.
£1 per child. Drop-in.
