The Reading Interntional Festival celebrates Reading’s diverse communities and action groups.
The programme highlights the many international activities, twinning links and solidarity in Reading.
The theme highlighted this year is We Must Dare To Invent The Future
We must dare to:
- invent a future where we live in peace, without divisions and violence
- invent an economic system that serves the needs of people and planet
- create a food system that respects food sovereignty & biodiversity
- protect people from displacement, land theft and war
- demand environmental and climate justice
- create a world where all human rights are respected
The Festival includes Black History Month
