There is currently much debate regarding the potential conflict between transgender rights and women’s rights. This has intensified regarding access to single-sex spaces following the UK Supreme Court ruling that “woman” in the Equality Act 2010 refers to biological female sex, not acquired gender identity.

We'll be discussing:

• What should we do about single-sex spaces?
• Should the WI and Girl Guiding have changed from being trans inclusive to being for biological females only?
• What should we do about puberty blockers and treatment of trans children?
• Is there a conspiracy to suppress trans rights?

On the day, the group will question, discuss and assess the implications. If you want to come along to listen and comment, that’s fine too. The aim is to engage a group of like-minded people who enjoy understanding and challenging each other’s ideas.
