John Barron will talk about how he has used ChatGP to write a beautifully illustrated children's book recently. The text and illustrations in the book were all created by AI with suitable edits by John. But by his own admission, not much.

John Barron is a retired computer scientist, a fellow humanist, and a keen advocate for AI and future technologies. He will explain what AI is, explore what it can do, and explain some of its challenges - along with a demonstration or two.
