We’re getting the party started at Reading’s only independent cinema, as we celebrate our First Birthday Weekend and you’re all invited! 🎉 From Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July, we’ve got films, workshops and live music galore…
We’ll be screening Colm Bairéad’s Gaelic indie flick The Quiet Girl, bringing back Pixar’s Lightyear, Sundance darling Good Luck to You, Leo Grande and many more, all for the cool price of £3! Yes, you read that right, £3 film tickets for the whole weekend!
And beer folk can imbibe in our exclusive collaboration with our crafty friends at Phantom Brewing Co.! Biscuit Party is a delightful Hobnob-infused pale ale, blending two of Reading’s most famous Bs, beers and biscuits.
In the foyer, Jelly are joining us on Saturday 30th from 6-8pm for a Movie Poster collage workshop. S0 if you’ve ever fancied making your own movie poster, drop in for this free session (no booking required)! Plus, Reece at Cherry Tulip will be hosting Terrarium-Making Workshops on Sunday 31st at 11am + 2pm, where you can create your own little slice of succulent paradise from £30.
If you’re in the mood for music, we’ve got you covered Friday and Sunday evening! The Amazing Tiger Band is with us on Friday 29th from 8pm with his signature looped hip-hop/funk and cheeky performance style. Closing for us on Sunday 30th with two sets at 6pm + 8pm, Kito Riley brings the emotion and soul with her unique brand of bedroom pop.
