Lynne Heraud & Pat Turner

Pat and Lynne are seasoned performers both as solo artistes and in combination with others. During the 1970s Lynne sang as part of a successful duo with Sue Ashby when they performed at many of the major festivals and clubs in England.

In the early 1980s she sang with Frank Lee and John Lambert as Tom, Dick and Harry. Lynne is also half of a very successful duo with Keith Kendrick. They released a CD in 2001 called Stars In My Crown.

Pat sang in the four-piece harmony group Filigree when they sang at most of the major clubs and festivals in England.

Together they have worked extensively in clubs and festivals. Lynne ran the very successful Hoddesdon Folk Club from the mid-seventies to the mid-eighties and now runs the Waltham Abbey Folk Club in Essex. Pat was a founder member of the Cityfolk Club.

“Their harmonies are striking, with an impressive vocal range - and they produce a powerful and unique sound. Charismatic, humorous and quirky, they are not averse to a spot of outrage, though they sing their more serious songs with the same level of energy and vitality”
