At Young Company we create confident, outstanding theatre-makers.

Acting’s awesome, but we will open your eyes to so many other careers in the arts. You’ll shadow our professional teams, you’ll co-write with professional writers, and you’ll learn how to write fundraising applications so you can produce your own work. We partner with The Apple Store, to train you in tech, such as photography, video editing & music. We want Reading to be full of the best creative people and we believe that YOU are one of them.

From Young Company, you can join intern programmes, work experience onstage & backstage, professional opportunities & Arts Industry pathways. You’ll influence our professional work, apply to be on the RABBLE Youth Board,

Every year, you will create a new play about whatever you feel is important. Here’s an example of what this year’s students have created with RABBLE’s Artistic Director, Dani Davies, who is currently completing an MA at Bath Spa University in Writing for Young People.
