Sir John Madejski turned Reading from a lower league team into a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League.
He built a new stadium for the club and oversaw the team's magical journey to the top flight, which included a record-breaking Championship title winning 2005-6 season and an eighth place finish in Reading's first ever Premier League season.
