FREE Coley & Katesgrove History Walk

Join local historian Terry Dixon of Terry's Reading Walkabouts and the Nature Nurture team for a gentle guided walk discovering some of the fascinating history, nature and murals of Coley and Katesgrove.

We’ll follow the story of the area from medieval monks to the modern day, stopping at some brilliant community murals by Commando Jugendstil, including The Tale the Brook Told, Between Two Waters and the Katesgrove Time Travel Tunnel.

The walk is FREE, but places are limited and tickets are going fast, so booking is essential.

 Starting at Coley Place, opposite The Castle Tap

 Finishing at Holy Brook Nook, where there’ll be free refreshments and a chance to meet some of the people helping to care for this special community space.
