Are We There Yet? at The MERL

Pop-Up performance during Refugee Week

Are We There Yet? takes a light-hearted approach to some tough issues. Told through the lens of our diverse community we are conjuring a world less hostile via comedy, multilingual storytelling, and absurd spectacle, the play delivers a message of hope, unity and compassion.

This Refugee Week, join Rank & File Theatre for our pop-up tour along the GWR line bringing theatre, music and comedy to unexpected places. This travelling celebration explores this year’s impactful theme: Community As a Superpower.

Join us after the show for Q&A panel discussion with our actors.

“The importance of [us] having a group such as Rank & File over the last 3 years, it’s like a family now & it feels like home.”

“Rank & File have had a big impact, on not just myself but my fellow peers as well, because of our day-to-day experiences and what we go through. I’m an asylum seeker awaiting a decision.” (Oli actor)

Don’t miss the full play at The Corn Exchange Newbury on Wednesday 25th June.
