Enjoy trails and activities in the galleries and garden
- Book a space at our Museums, My Way session on 7th April for neurodiverse visitors of all ages
- Have a go at a themed trail in the MERL’s garden (free)
- Discover the Spring Family Activity Packs
- Free hands-on make-and-take activities in the Learning Studio
- Try your hand at brass rubbing
- Have a go at a variety of gallery and garden trails including our woodland brass rubbing trail
- Have fun on the fabulous wooden play-on tractor and wagon
- Bring a picnic or enjoy an Easter treat in the cafe!
Easter closing times
The museum (including the cafe, shop and garden) will be closed on certain days over the Easter holidays:
Monday 7th April: Museum is closed except for our bookable Museums, My Way Event
Thursday 17th – Friday 18th April closed
Saturday 19th April OPEN
Easter Sunday 20th April & Bank Holiday Monday 21st April closed
The museum will open again as normal from Tuesday 22nd April
