Known as a founder of "b-music": a revolutionary, now seemingly deriguour but rarely mastered approach to custody of exotic artifacts of yesterday, informed by prior aesthetics of recontextualisation such as hip-hop and punk, but casting the magpie eye for vintage curios further and deeper than before: south Asian electro soundtracks, minority language European folk, Soviet-era glam rock, 70s Iranian pop etc etc. Exploding the paradox of 'avant-garde archivism' in a groovy cacophony of the lesser-heard.
Which is a flowery way of saying he's a DJ/reissue label curator who manages to be properly esoteric and forward thinking while also a virtuoso dancefloor puppet master and reliably high-brow cool-bar-vibes-man. Mondo Fuzz DJs are also in attendance.
