Stand Up Comedy in Reading is back. Mates Rates Comedy is proud to present Comedy at Turtle with Headliner Elliot Steel.

Mates Rates Comedy has teamed up with The Purple Turtle to bring you the best acts from the UK comedy scene.

We will have TV names, up and coming circuit comics and as always you will be guided along by our trusty MC Carl Richard.

The show takes place at The Purple Turtle on Friday 19 April between 7:30pm-9:30pm (doors open 7:00pm).

Elliot Steel

Elliot Steel, despite being in his twenties, is a veteran of the British comedy circuit. Starting at sixteen, he has wowed audiences and impressed critics. Having multiple viral clips, Steel is becoming a voice for those in their mid-twenties with his dark but intelligent style.

Marked as one to watch by The Independent, Elliot is a rising talent on the UK’s comedy circuit. Receiving critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his show Merked in 2019, you won’t want to miss his brand-new work in progress show.
