Woodturning For Beginners

Ready to unleash your inner woodturner? Join accredited woodturning tutor Liz Pearson for this fun and hands-on Woodturning for Beginners course! Learn the basics of woodturning from an experienced instructor in a relaxed and supportive environment. This one-day course will cover essential techniques and safety tips to help you create your own unique wooden toadstool and bowl. No prior experience required - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

What’s included?

• a day of wood turning starting at 9.30am and finishing at 4.30pm
• refreshments and a light lunch. Please advise of any dietary requirements or allergies on booking. You’re very welcome to bring your own lunch if you prefer.
• comprehensive safety information and PSHE
• a look at the basic tools
• learning basic wood turning skills (spindle and faceplate turning)
