Join artist Lewis Danielski for a not-so-guided, guided walk - a walk with no particular destination, with the sole aim of letting your brain off the leash for a while.
What happens when you stop focusing on where you're going and start paying attention to where you are?
With the help of a small activity booklet, this walk will invite you to see and interact with your environment differently - to notice what you might usually overlook, to be curious, and to point things out to each other - no matter how small or insignificant they may seem.
There’ll be a fair amount of stopping, turning back, wandering in circles. Sitting down. Touching things. Sniffing the air. Maybe taking your shoes off. Not so much walking, really!
We will meet at the Jelly studios at 11am before heading outside - bring pens/pencils, water, snacks, whatever is in your pockets, shoes (if you want) and an open mind.
This workshop is for adults. If you would like to discuss any access needs in order to participate in this event please email laura@jelly.org.uk
About the artist
Lewis is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in London. He is passionate about play and observation as a means to make art and live life. He’ll share how a simple prompt helped shift how he sees the world - and made him a happier person.
He hopes this little wander might do the same for you.
