Third Sunday Life Drawing - Exploring the Colour Green

Join Artist Cheri Clayton for a gently guided costumed life drawing

Sun 17 March, 13:30 - 15:00

Every third Sunday join artist Cheri Clayton for a gently guided costumed life drawing at the Jelly studios. Each month Cheri is joined by models with different creative interests that inspire the themes of the session.

This month explores the colour green. The class will be a long pose portrait session, where model Kiera Grace will wear excessive layers of all green clothing, encouraging participants to respond to / explore the colour and its connotations. Green reminds us of luck, tranquility, new beginnings and growth.

A friendly and relaxed tutored life drawing session where everyone is welcome from professional artist, student or keen hobbyist. We welcome creativity and encourage enjoying the process rather than focusing on the outcome. Gently guided by an artist and guest model, enjoy creating together and sharing work within the group if you choose.

Basic drawing materials are available to borrow and paper available to purchase from our shop. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and a cuppa. We recommend bringing several sheets of A3 paper and any dry / quick-drying medium of your choice.

This workshop is aimed at 16+. 14/15 year olds are allowed to attend if accompanied by an adult of 18+
