Aspects of Life in the 'Long 18th Century'
-
Our president Joan Dils will use diaries, letters, newspaper reports and court records as sources of what real life was like at this time. The very different fortunes of some of the townspeople and visitors can be found in their diaries and letters or newspaper reports and court records about them.
There will be a sale of books on local history and interest at this meeting.
