In an illustrated talk by our Chairman, David Cliffe, we will learn about the importance of bridges, locks and weirs as crossing points over the Thames. And also, the history of Caversham Mill, St Anne’s Well, the shrine of Our Lady of Caversham and the local conflict of 1911. David was formerly a librarian.
