We’re devastated to report the heart-breaking news that we have no choice but to cancel this summer’s HeritageLive festivals at the Englefield Estate, the Audley End Estate and the Sandringham Estate.
We’d been working desperately hard behind the scenes to conclude an investment and equity package to ease the burden of an extraordinarily tough year, but this last beacon of hope has fallen through at the 11th hour, making it impossible to go ahead.
As one of the few remaining British independent promoters, it’s become almost impossible to compete in what has become an increasingly saturated festival market.
The might of huge multi-nationals has had the adverse effect of driving up supplier, artist and staffing costs and whilst it’s still just about manageable during a normal year, the cost-of-living crisis combined with general financial uncertainty, has resulted in several shows having far lower than average ticket sales, making it impossible to survive in such a competitive industry, with so many rising costs.
It would therefore be irresponsible and wrong of us to proceed without the certainty that we’d be able to meet all of our supplier, artist and crew costs.
The whole HeritageLive team is absolutely devastated. It would have been the most amazing summer with such an extraordinary array of supreme talent and we’re all so very sorry to let everyone down.
Ticket Refunds
You will have bought your tickets via one of our reputable ticket agents, either AXS Ticketing, Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Gigantic, Skiddle, or Ticketline. Please locate and keep safe your ticket transaction receipt, which would have been emailed to you from one of the above ticket agents, following your booking. As the ‘merchant of record’ ticket agents are bound by the Consumer Rights Act to process your refund “without undue delay” and in many cases this will happen automatically within a reasonable period, but please contact your ticket agent directly should you have any queries.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and enjoyed our events over the past 10 years. Whilst this is devastating news, we hope that in time you’re able to look back with fond memories to those happier days; we’ve had so many awesome and magical moments over the years and hope they remain in your hearts forever.

Richard Ashcroft has been announced as the first headliner for Heritage Live Festivals’ huge shows at Englefield Estate in 2026.
Hot off his incredible summer guesting with Oasis on what is one of the biggest and most historic tours of all-time, Richard Ashcroft will be joined in the stunning grounds of the Berkshire estate by Shed Seven, Tom Meighan, and The Kairos.
Richard Ashcroft is a two-time Ivor Novello winner (Songwriter of the Year in 1998 and Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 2019) who has released five Top 5 solo albums, including the #1 debut 'Alone With Everybody', and most recently last year his #2 album 'Acoustic Hymns'.
He first came to attention with The Verve, with who he released one of the biggest albums of the era in the shape of 'Urban Hymns' (the UK's 18th biggest selling album of all-time) as well as a succession of anthems which remain staples of his live set today, including 'The Drugs Don't Work', 'Bittersweet Symphony', 'Lucky Man' and 'Sonnet'.
Following this summer’s tour with Oasis across the UK, Ireland and the US, Richard Ashcroft will release his brand new album ‘Lovin’ You’ on 10th October.
Hailing from York, Shed Seven, released their debut album ‘Change Giver’ in 1994. Emerging as one of the big hitters during the heyday of Britpop, their catalogue leading to seven Top 20 hits including classics such as ‘Going For Gold’, ‘Chasing Rainbows’, ‘Disco Down’ and ‘On Standby’; as well as six Top 10 albums.
The band’s albums ‘Liquid Gold’ and 'A Matter of Time' were released last year, and both soared to the top of the UK album charts, making the band one of only 20 artists to achieve the milestone of two No.1 albums in the same year.
Tom Meighan is the former vocalist of the alternative rock powerhouse Kasabian. Meighan’s signature frenetic energy and powerful baritone have kept his name in the mouths of British music fans since he came onto the scene in 1997. He released his debut solo album in 2023 ‘The Reckoning’ to widespread critical acclaim.
Liverpool band The Kairos released their debut EP ‘Better Late Than Never’, securing them support from BBC Radio 1 and Radio X, and have since led them to huge slots at the Isle of Wight Festival, performing in stadiums and arenas supporting the likes of James, Red Rum Club, and The Reytons; as well as their own sell out tours.
