The Roseate Sessions: Bethia + Phantom Booth
We’ve teamed up with Reading’s luxury boutique 5* hotel, The Roseate, to bring you monthly intimate and completely unplugged acoustic live performances each month from their luxurious 30-seater in-house cinema – Upstage Mini.
September's Roseate Sessions headliner is R&B/Pop artist Bethia. With her intuitive gift of melody and songwriting Bethia has been exploring the depths of her artistry by gigging and releasing her original material since 2017. Her love for R&B and pop music continues to grow, drawing huge inspiration from strong female artists such as Ariana Grande, Sinéad Harnett, Kiana Ledé and Alina Baraz.
Bethia has been collaborating with electronic R&B producer Mört since 2019 creating music together influenced by alternative R&B and trap soul. They released their second collaborative EP “Pt. 2” in November 2021 which includes songs that have recently featured on Spotify playlists such as “Lotus”, “De Nye” and “New Music Friday Denmark” and Apple Music’s “New In R&B”.
Bethia is so excited to be working on brand new music with releases planned for autumn 2022.
