Terraces and Towpaths: Art from a River Town
Community art exhibition, in another unique space.
From 19 Sep for 6 weeks
The artists and artworks have been selected! We are delighted with our diverse, eclectic, inclusive community art exhibition and can’t wait for you to see it!
This is our third community art exhibition in another unique space. From 19th September, for six weeks, you’ll find the exhibition at the Jolly Anglers on Kennet Side.
The theme is "Terraces and Towpaths: Art from a River Town". You will see photography, paintings, collage, mixed media, giclée prints, a six-foot computer-generated graphic of George Palmer, and poetry inspired by our creative Newtown area (and a little beyond). Artworks will feature wildlife, bricks and mortar, canals and rivers and our green areas. Come along, peruse the exhibition, stay for a drink and maybe a bite to eat. Jemal and Valentina promise you a warm welcome.
A little taster of some of our pieces...
