Beat:Cancer & Schism Rock Club are collaborating on Friday 5th Dec to bring you an exciting club night over rooms playing Metal, Rock, Alternative & Drum & Bass.
Headlining this close up show – we welcome one of the rising super stars of the moment – Venjent. This is rare close up show with capacity of only 300 people in the main room.
Venjent (DJ Set)
Venjent’s art remixes everyday sounds into Bass driven music, with a dose of humour and an underlying philosophical message.
Venjent brings an alternative edge & energy into his music, with a passion for bass, riffs and beats. This, mixed with his spiritual connection to the vibrations of life, creates the Venjent sound.
Mechanical Vein (DJ Set)
Mechanical Vein flexes a truly unique take on bass music… a drum & bass core, with a furious blend of metal / industrial / hip-hop influences.
With visceral lyrical themes ranging from political unrest to deep human connection, MV’s music is equally suited to the heart, the fist, and the dance floor.
Karkasaurus (DJ Set)
DJs Kark and Peewee, residents of Beat:Cancer and the alt. & LGTBTQ+ friendly Cosmic Hard Dance, joined forces to form Karkasaurus; a tyrannosaurus wreck of an act. For their dino-mite sets expect terrible costumes, too much energy to safely handle and plenty of high octane tunes. The Jurassic Duo bring to the decks liberal lashings of off the wall covers, remixes and bootlegs along with live mashups, idiotic sampling and plenty of exclusive edits you’ll wish you’d never heard!
Schism Regular DJs will all be playing this event – enjoy DJ Force X, DJ Source – E:, The Soundshark & DJ Brad.
Room 2 will be hosted by Church of Madness – with residents Simon Penguin and Endtransmission.
