Purple Grace return to Reading for the first time in over 2 years! Last time out back in February 2023 they absolutely rocked out the FaceBar.
This time they headline The Butler, supported by Pluto the Rich.
Purple Grace
Didcot based 5 piece Post hardcore band. Consisting of founding members Luke (Guitar), Lewis (Drums) they were joined by Ed (Lead Guitar) in 2022, followed by Ben (Bass) and Emily (Vocals) in 2025. They have morphed from a more traditional Indie/Indie Rock sound to Alt & Pop punk and are now venturing into the Post-Hardcore sphere.
Taking heavy inspiration from Paramore, You me at Six whilst even elements from Nickelback, Shinedown and Bring me the Horizon. the expanded group have been able to broaden their songwriting landscape which date back to 2019.
Their new sound is perfectly suited for a live performance, with catchy hooks, huge breakdowns and heavy guitars. Their dynamism and energy is there for all to see who have previously performed at venues such as The Bullingdon & Jericho Tavern in Oxford, the Norman Bragg Studio in Aylesbury & a featured act at the Wokingham Festival.
Pluto The Rich
Unsigned, Unhinged, Unemployed. Pluto the rich are Punk/ Alt-Rock band from Southampton. Started in 2022 we have been quickly daisy chaining gigs around the south coast of the UK. All members throw different influences from ‘Kid Kapichi’ to 'Car Seat Headrest' into a loud melting pot, PTR bring a truckload of of energy, chaos and heart to all our songs and live performances never not being invited back.
Since inception we have released two songs getting to the top of multiple local radio shows with our latest song ‘Battleaxe’ being picked up by BBC Introducing Solent. Although our biggest fan base is in Brazil and Mexico, do with that what you will.
