Seeds and Surfaces: Microscopy, Botany & Public Art

November weekdays + Sat 23 November

Art Space in St Nicolas November's exhibition is about the process of creating public artwork.

Seeds And Surfaces displays some of the research by artists Rachael Champion and Jonathan Trayte who are developing work for the new development by Reading Station. After an online survey nine seeds were selected as important for Reading. The textures of the surface of the seeds will be used for the art work in Reading.

The explanation of these choices and the surface textures recorded by microscopy will be in the foyer of St Nicolas Community Centre until the end of November.

The area will be open for viewing most office weekdays and on Saturday 23rd November 1-4pm
