Reading MELA 2026

Save the date for the BIGGEST South Asian festival in Reading.

This time it's even bigger and better - we will have the mela for two days - Sat 1st Aug and Sun 2nd Aug as we celebrate our 10th anniversary!

Reading Mela is an annual fair that celebrates the music, art and culture of South Asia.

It provides an opportunity for various communities in Berkshire, irrespective of ethnic background, to come together in family friendly environment and enjoy a day out.
It is a complete family fun day filled with multiple attractions with breath-taking performances ranging from international and local singing talents, Bollywood and street dance, multiple shows for kids, world food, festive shopping, fun fair rides and much more.
