Plan your Wedding

Reading Town Hall is an iconic and historic venue in the heart of the town. With our grand decor, chandeliers and stained glass windows, our rooms make an idyllic setting for you and your guests to celebrate your special day.

We have three rooms which can be used for either ceremonies or receptions, depending on the size of your event. The room layout and table plan will be discussed with you in the run up to your day. Our team can assist with adding place names, favors and other items to the tables. If you wish to have a top table this can be sized to your specific requirements.

We have a selection of fixed menus designed for specific budgets or our Chef can design a bespoke menu to suit your needs. All our food is freshly prepared on site by our Chef and his team. We source food from local suppliers wherever possible, we use free range eggs and fair-trade teas and coffees.

We also have an extensive wine list for you to choose from and we can supply a range of soft drinks for your tables. A cash or tab bar can also be made available for your day.

Please note that you will need to contact the Register Office at Civic Offices, Bridge Street (telephone 0118 9373533) to arrange for the Registrars to be present. You can provisionally book their attendance 12 months prior to your wedding date. Remember that without the Registrars your ceremony cannot take place.
