North Pole Brunch with Father Christmas

This Christmas, Our Story & Co. and The Avenue Deli are bringing a little North Pole magic to Calcot.

Join us for a cosy, small-group Christmas experience filled with festive food, Christmas activities, a personalised North Pole story and a special family visit to Father Christmas in his outdoor grotto.

We’re deliberately keeping each sitting small, with a maximum of 20 people, so families have space to relax, enjoy their brunch and make some lovely Christmas memories without the crowds.

 What happens at North Pole Brunch?

Families will be welcomed into The Avenue Deli and shown to their tables, where their pre-ordered festive brunch will be served.

Children can enjoy Christmas activities, including a festive craft and making their own reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve.

Before grotto visits begin, everyone will settle down for a special personalised North Pole story created especially for the children attending that sitting.

Each child can be included by name, along with a little detail supplied by their grown-up — perhaps something they love, something they’ve achieved or something special about them.

After the story, families will be called individually to visit Father Christmas in his outdoor grotto.

Each child with a full Child Ticket will receive:

•  Festive brunch and drink
•  Christmas craft activity
•  Reindeer food
•  Personalised North Pole story
•  Personalised letter from Father Christmas
•  Individual family visit to Father Christmas
•  Special Christmas gift

Families will also receive a recording of their sitting’s personalised North Pole story after the event as a little Christmas keepsake.

 Child Ticket – £24.95

Each child taking part in the full experience will need their own Child Ticket.

 Adult Ticket – £12

Every adult attending requires an Adult Ticket because our total capacity is limited to just 20 people per sitting.

Includes:

• Choice of breakfast roll
• Tea or coffee

At least one accompanying adult must attend with each family booking.

Additional adults are welcome subject to availability.

 Little Elf Sibling Ticket – £8.50

For babies under 9 months attending alongside an older sibling with a full Child Ticket who don’t require brunch or the main craft activities.

Includes:

•  Inclusion in the personalised North Pole story
•  Personalised letter from Father Christmas
•  Small age-appropriate Christmas gift
•  Family grotto visit with Father Christmas
• Digital story recording after the event

The Little Elf ticket does not include food or the main craft activities.

Babies still count towards our maximum capacity, so they must have their own ticket.

 Choosing your food

You do not need to choose your food when purchasing your tickets.

After booking, we will send you a separate North Pole Brunch order form by email.

This will ask you to choose food and drinks for everyone in your booking, as well as provide the information we need to create your child’s personalised Father Christmas letter and North Pole story.

Please keep an eye on your inbox and check your junk/spam folder so you don’t miss it.

Food is being pre-ordered so The Avenue Deli can have everything ready for your sitting.

 Your personalised North Pole story

Each sitting will have its own special story featuring the children attending.

We may ask you for:

• Your child’s first name
• How their name is pronounced, if helpful
• Something they love
• Something they’ve done recently that they’re proud of or you’re proud of

We’ll use one or two small details to weave them naturally into the story.

The story will be played during your session before families begin visiting Father Christmas.

A recording will also be emailed to families afterwards as a Christmas keepsake.

Because the recording is shared with families attending the same sitting, you will be asked to give consent for your child’s first name and the non-sensitive details you provide to be included.

If you would prefer your child not to be named in the story, that is absolutely fine — just let us know on the form.

A few important things to know

• Every person attending needs a ticket, including babies, because our capacity is limited to 20 people per sitting.
• Children must remain accompanied and supervised by their grown-up throughout.
• Grotto visits are one family at a time and take place during your 90-minute sitting.
• Children can meet Father Christmas at their own pace — there is no expectation to sit on his knee or pose for photographs.
• Please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements on your food order form.
• Tickets are for your chosen sitting, so please check the date and time carefully before booking.
• Personalised story and letter information will need to be returned by the deadline given in your follow-up email.
