The Office of Eternal Optimism by Shôn Dale-Jones

When Shôn decides to make a show that will inspire hope, he soon discovers it’s much much harder than he thought it might be.

Convinced audiences need some light during these dark times, he is determined to make a show that offers them some relief.

A funny, heart-warming storytelling show about committing to the pursuit of optimism.

Shôn started making comic theatre back in the mid '90s. Since then, he's made over 30 shows that have toured to 250 theatres throughout the UK and to 20 countries worldwide. The Stage describes him as “Legend of the Edinburgh Festival” and The Guardian say he’s a “mesmerising personality, consummate storyteller, natural comic and winning performer”. His work has been translated into 7 languages, and he's won several awards, including BBC Audio Drama Award for Best Scripted Comedy. He has played the Sydney Opera House, the Barbican, the the Royal Court and played in New York City, Vancouver, Toronto, LA, Oslo, Bogotá, Johannesburg and Northampton.
