We are delighted to announce our autumn concert: Brahms’ A German Requiem, taking place on Sunday 8th November at 5:00 pm at St Andrew’s Church in Caversham. Join us to mark Remembrance Sunday with this sublime requiem, accompanied by piano duet.
Brahms composed this masterpiece to bring comfort and hope to the living, making it a fitting piece for a reflective autumn afternoon.
We are thrilled to be joined for this concert by soprano Emily Dickens and baritone Dingle Yandell. Emily and Dingle are internationally renowned classical singers (and former members of VOCES8) who also call Caversham home. Hearing their voices soaring in the acoustics of St Andrew’s Church will be a highlight of our season.
Baritone: Dingle Yandell
Soprano: Emily Dickens
Piano: Anita D’Attellis and Hayley Tull
Refreshments will be available after the concert.
