Activists Without Borders Film Festival 2026

10 & 11 October

Activists Without Borders Film Festival: global films, bold conversations, and urgent stories on social issues and climate crises for change

Join us for a two-day, family-friendly film festival featuring 22 award-winning films across six programmes, held at The Pavillion and Reading Biscuit Factory.

The films explore urgent social and humanitarian issues in the UK and around the world, including environmental challenges, poverty, the Palestinian struggle, refugee experiences, injustice and other issues affecting communities today.

Each programme brings together a selection of films, followed by a panel discussion or Q&A and an opportunity to connect and network. The festival award will be presented at the end of Programme 6.

You can join us for all six programmes across the weekend or attend just one. Each programme lasts approximately two hours.
