Get ready for some fierce footy action and unforgettable moments watching the AFL Grand Final at Siren Craft Brew in Reading RG1!
In conjunction with the Reading Roos Aussie Rules football team, we'll be showing the AFL Grand Final.
Doors from 05:00 and the game starting at 05:30
Tickets include a bacon roll and a drink.
After that, the beers will be flowing.
A review of Siren's 2025 AFL Grand Final event
The 2025 AFL Grand Final saw Brisbane Lions crush the Geelong Cats by 47 points on 27th September, with our RG1 bar transformed into a little bit of Australia for a few hours on Saturday morning.
Cheered on by members of the Siren-sponsored Reading Kangaroos at 5am in central Reading, it was the Lions who emerged victorious and the reputation of our bar as a community hub enhanced.
Far from begrudging the early morning, Siren’s Junior Assistant Manager Charlotte Palmer was behind the bar for the event and said: “It was a great group having a bit of fun really early in the morning! It was such a community, they were all here in the different teams colours. All you hear is Australian accents!”
“Most of them are regulars, there was a good mix of men and women, and there were a few kids who didn’t look totally happy to have been dragged out of bed,” she added. If it all felt a little surreal, it’s something the RG1 team is very much used to.
It was the second AFL Grand Final watch party the venue hosted and one of many private bookings and events held at RG1 throughout the year. The bar regularly screens sporting fixtures and is available to book for corporate events and group gatherings.
RG1 is a unique space and can be split up to cater for the needs of each booking.
"We love hosting events,” Charlotte says. “It’s one of my favourite things to do, they can create such a fun environment, which is great because I’ll have fun as well.
“If we can create a good, fun environment for guests, it helps build our community, and they are more likely to come back to us in the future.”
Siren’s RG1 bar on Friar Street in Reading is open Monday to Thursday 12pm - 11pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm - 12am and Sunday 12pm – 7pm.
