London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) is one of the oldest and most respected examining bodies in the UK, and RABBLE Theatre is proud to offer these transformative acting classes in Reading.
Our Saturday morning LAMDA Acting classes help students develop their vocal, physical, and interpretive skills while exploring a range of characters and dramatic texts. Along the way, students gain confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of performance.
Note that this is not a LAMDA Public Speaking class however RABBLE does offer these on Tuesday evenings. See our website for details.
Our Saturday morning classes are divided into two age groups:
Juniors – Primary school students in Years 2–6
Seniors – Secondary school students in Years 7–13
Junior students who are new to LAMDA begin with three Introductory examinations before progressing through the graded syllabus. Older students join at a level appropriate to their age, experience, and ability.
Students work closely with our team of professional directors, actors, and teachers to prepare and refine their performance pieces for LAMDA examinations. As an official LAMDA examination centre, RABBLE Theatre hosts exam sessions throughout the year.
Our experienced team provides expert guidance and support, ensuring students feel confident and well-prepared on exam day.
