Walk Works - Hambleden to Henley river route
10km walk to Thameside Social pop-up with Orwells & Pavilion Foods
Join Walk Works for this delightful route over Hambleden lock & weir and along the Thames Path past the iconic Temple Island and towards Henley-on-Thames. There will be a lot to see along the river with the start of the Regatta imminent. Rowers sweeping up and down the Thames, marquees going up along the grassy banks and the birds and bees and other wildlife just going along with all the activity as per. We are going to pause for refreshments at the Pavilion Foods & Orwells Thameside Social pop-up before returning to Hambleden and admiring the views from the other way, drinking in the atmosphere and the scenery as we go. Refreshments are optional, but highly recommended!
Walk Works are 2 experience guide leaders who are first aid trained and mental health first aid trained, and insured. All routes are checked and risk assessed prior to walking.
