Museums, My Way: Build the Change LEGO Sessions

17 Aug 2026 Multiple times

Saving Today’s Dinosaurs!

A special LEGO brick session aimed at neurodivergent visitors and their families to complement our regular Saturday sessions. Today’s dinosaurs need your help, so join in the fun by putting your creativity and imagination to the test!

Take a look at some of the bird specimens from our collection to discover how they evolved from dinosaurs and what the impact humans have on their habitats today.

Families will get a chance to build together then share their build and ideas at the end of the session.

A breakout room, Quiet areas with tents and cushions and sensory bags will be available. Please note that the Museum will be closed, except for those taking part in the sessions.

Siblings, families, carers and friends are all welcome (please book a space for each child attending).

The session will offer:

  • Access to galleries
  • Reduced volume of gallery interactive sounds
  • Sensory backpacks and ear defenders
  • Break out spaces (our usual Saturday set up for families to try)
  • Facilitated hands-on activity

2-hour sessions 10am – 12pm
