Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal Tasting

Mezcal tasting

Del Maguey mezcals are twice distilled and unblended from 100% mature agave Espadin and are produced in the original, 500-year-old hand-crafted way. Some very, very special liquid indeed. Ticket price includes a welcome drink

Founded by Ron Cooper in 1995, Del Maguey Mezcal benefits from deep cultural relationships with Zapotec Mexican Indian producers in remote villages of Oaxaca, Mexico, and their ancient organic processes established over 500 years ago. The mezcal is produced with only two ingredients: the heart of the agave, and 10% pure water added to the fermentation process. Each Single Village Mezcal is made by individual family producers in old-style villages, with each product credited after the village where the liquid was made. Each label is drawn by iconic L.A. artist Ken Price, who coincidentally happened to live next door to Cooper in California in the ‘60s, and the pair became lifelong friends.

On the night you will be welcomed with a Del Maguey cocktail before moving on to sample the Chichicapa, Santo Domingo albarradas, and Tobala expressions. These are some super limited and rather exceptional Mezcals, there will also be 30% off Milks whole collection of Mezcal on the night for ticket holders, should you wish to go even further down this exceptional rabbit hole!
