Set in a quiet Scottish town, Gagarin Way is a 90-minute rollercoaster of masculine disillusionment, ideological extremism, and pitch-black comedy. Almost 25 years since it was first seen in Edinburgh, Gagarin Way is still ‘a ton of theatrical dynamite’ and marked an explosive debut for its writer, Gregory Burke. It’s a taut, tense chamber piece that grips from the first minute and refuses to let go — a darkly comic hostage drama laced with philosophical bite, class rage, and existential dread.
