Architecture at Reading Library

Reading Library's Local Studies Collection holds all sorts of resources relating to architecture in the town, and this year's Heritage Open Day film will look at some of these.

The library doesn't just have shelves of books, the collection includes estate catalogues, maps, street directories and photographs. This film will look at some examples of these and how they might help in finding out more about the buildings - and the people who lived in them- as well as a brief outline of brick making in the town.
